So the $1000 is not including the mobo or cpu which you've already purchased?

Then something like this maybe, you could cut back a lot, but it only comes to $800

Looked into the parts listed above and was just wondering about the case and the CPU cooler. I am new to building a rig and read the reviews and saw that the coolermaster cpu cooler can be difficult to install. I was wondering what your guys' experience is with it or if there is one that is an easier install. Also, how would all of this fit into the CoolerMaster Sniper Case

I will also be getting a 5870 gpu if I can ever find one. Is any brand better than the others for this?
I decided to upgrade to a Blu-Ray player basically because my brother has a vast library of blu-ray movies and I will be using this rig to watch a lot of movies in my room.

Another question I have is about a tv-tuner. Which one should I get?

I would go with that Lian Li case that was reccomended by jbakerlent but the HAF 922/932 are both nice cases too. All the 5870 cards are the same, the brand tells you how long of a warranty you get, XFX gives double lifetime warranty.

OCZ Fatal1ty OCZ700FTY 700W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply - Retail

NewEgg has this PSU for like $60 after rebates right now. I was wondering how the quality of these PSU's are and if this will work well with my build.
