If you want to run more than one monitor, use the hdmi boards with both types of video ports. I like onboard video to have a spare video source in case my video card goes out. But be aware that when you have a video card installed, you must remove it first before using the onboard video. It won't work while a card is in the pci-e slot. These boards are mostly micro atx but cheaper. The only real disadvantage is fewer overclocking options in the bios.
