Buffering Problem with Windows Media Player

Hello,
im trying to get my laptop to play a movie WITHOUT STALLING OR BUFFERING.it is gotten worst it seems as there is more music in background it stalls,or the movie piks up on action firefights and it realy stalls for a longer time then starts playin PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!it is a older lap top but its all i have....PLEASE
