Hey just wondering what OpenGL 2.0 is, i see alot of graphics cards have it along with DirectX. im guessing its similar.

It's a graphics API (like Direct 3D in Direct X). Simply put some games are developed under Direct3D and others with OpenGL.

All cards released today support OpenGL just like Direct3D (DirectX).

They both have their Pros and Cons. Not being a programmer, I couldn't tell ya. :(
But I think it's safe to assume... Everything has a pro and a con. :D
