Are "Easy Overclocking" switches reliable

my motherboard (Msi 790xt-g45) came with easy overclocking switches. is this a reliable way to overclock?

if something goes wrong can i just flick the switch back to the original position and it will go back to normal?

Don't know. I have always used the BIOS to overclock.
