After virus clean up no wireless networks in range

Hello,
I had a horrible virus(Internet SEcurity 2010) Cleaned it, unable to connect wirelessly. This is a company laptop Dell Latitude 630 windows xp, Intel pro wireless card has been reinstalled. Still says unable to connect..no wireless networks in range. Switch is turned on. Wireless router right beside me. Not an expert please hlep

Try a wired connection or WinsockXPFix.

Tried WinsockXPFix. It didn't work. Under my network connections it used to say wireless connection..now says local connection 7 by the intel entry. If I go to services..it says "no adapter state in registry" Any ideas?
