Hello,
I have an ASUSTek Computer INC. NAGAMI2 2.00 Motherboard for my A1510N HP computer. Is the ATI 4870 compatible with this motherboard, eventhough its a DDR type or should I look into upgrading my motherboard as well.

According to the specs the motherboard appears to have one PCI-E x16 slot so you can use about any graphics card you want as long as your power supply can power it and it will physically fit in your case.

Yeah, I actually do have an 600W power supply and about 3 gigs of ram as well. I just wasn't sure about the motherboard being ddr compared to the 4870 being GDDR5 and how they'd work together while gaming.

The system RAM and GPU RAM have nothing to do with each other. The GPU will work fine with the motherboard since it has a PCI-E slot.
