APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Within one month
BUDGET RANGE: <300
SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Running XBMC in Windows environment, streaming 1080p from storage computer, Blu-Ray capable (though won't be purchasing right away)
PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Keyboard, mouse, monitor, OS, speakers, optical drive, remote, TV tuner
PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Newegg
PARTS PREFERENCES:
-Probably AMD considering budget
-I have used the GIGABYTE GA-MA785GM-US2H board before, and I enjoy it (but this isn't a requirement)
OVERCLOCKING: No
SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No
MONITOR RESOLUTION: 720p/1080p TV output
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Would like this to be as cheap as possible. From my experience with 785G chipset and an AMD PII 720 BE, I won't need a dedicated graphics card for the video I'm looking to play so unless there is a great deal I'd be going with integrated graphics as well.
