?? can someone clarify what these mean? is there a bumpgate law suite lol? cuz i got an old hp laptop with nvidia 6100 IGP that is dying and they won't fix it since it's out of warranty and they are saying screw u to anyone whom didn't buy extended warranty.

All manufacturers do that. Once it's out of warranty, you will pay (if they can get the parts) to get it fixed. If the store you bought it from offered an extended warranty and you turned it down, they are legally within their rights. You are on your own.

Outside of their given warranty, they'll say no. Unless a judge says otherwise.

lol great, i wonder if making fans run at 100% all the time and making them dying out of warranty and not disclosing this information in time when less-reliable sources discovered them from their own digging is enough to suggest that they wanted the warranty to run out en masse so they don't need to repay/fix anything.

I have the same problem did you find a class action lawsuit! There absolutely should be one. Please Help- Heather

i haven't seen any, and i just gotten a new acer with touchscreen and ATI mobility radeon 4570 to replace it anyways


but yeah if there is a class action suit for these junk NV bumpgate items then I want in.
