Reinstalling Software onto new Hardrive it wont recognize the Optical drive

Hello,I need the optical driver to the Gateway GM5260 and help with how to instal so I can use my restore disk

as you said it was a new hard drive i would go back a check that you did not knock the cable for the optical drive out or lose when installing it
