Hi again,

I tried OCing my I5 at 4.5ghz and got bsod after a couple of hours. I'm trying to not mess around with the voltage until Im fully clued up on this as i'm new to OCing!

I've now dropped down to 4.0ghz and seem to be running fine. Ive had Prime95 blend test running for the last hour now and my temp is staying stable at 56 degrees and around 29 when Idle.

Vcore is about 1.257v when under full load. Are these results normal/safe?

thanks

Temps are fine and voltage is fine. Both are well within 'safe' range.

I would recommend reading a bit on OCing before changing too many things in the bios. You can easily find OCing guides by Googling your mobo model and 'overclocking'. Several guides should then come up using your bios.

This has been the most helpful way for me to get help on my OC. :)
