Right guys, my current rig is as follows:
AMD Athlon II X4 640 (3.0ghz, stock)
HD Raedon 6870 Black Edition
1Tb Western Digital
Foxconn A76ML- K 30 Motherboard.

Now... When I have tried to OC, my bios shows the correct OC speed, but CPU-Z isn't. Help?

Hi, Thanks. CPU-Z is currently showing stock which is 3ghz.

Do you have the latest CPU-Z version right? Disable Cool'nQuite and C1E on your BIOS.

Check, check and check. Just doesn't seem to make sense.

Download and use core temp, that program also show the CPUs speed. Let me know what you see there.

Downloaded and installed, still showing the 3ghz, is there anything major I could have missed?

Now this is rare. Do you have the latest BIOS version? tried clearing all and re-entering the settings?

Bios is up to date, I've reverted to defaults and tried again. Any quick recommend settings I could try out?

Small increase, 50MHz or 100MHz as much, not voltage change.

I wouldn't dare change the voltage. I only started to try an OC to 3.1ghz, but this problem arose.

Do you have foxconn software installed? If you do it may be resetting your OC back to stock as soon as windows starts and should be uninstalled.
It's strange that two different programs would report incorrect frequencies so I am thinking some program is either changing your settings back to stock or your BIOS settings aren't being saved somehow.
