Why are there two different colors where you plug in the DDR 2 ram ? I have one mobo with two black and two yellow slots, my other mobo has two blue and two black slots. All take DDR 2 sticks ? :??:

That's because there are two RAM channels. Most motherboards require you to have RAM in the same colored slots for dual-channel operation. What motherboards do you have? Your motherboard owners manual would also have answered your question. It tells you which RAM slots you're supposed to use for the best performance.
