Terrific idea but that was the 1st thing I tried.

Larry, you are almost as much help as the previous person. Perhaps not
everyone is as computer literate as you are. I have scrolled back quite as
ways and don't see any messages on the subject lines regarding this topic.
Could someone please answer the question. I am not trying to be belligerent
or offend anyone. I am working to the best of my abilities.
Again, COULD SOMEONE PLEASE ANSWER THE QUESTION OR TELL ME HOW TO FIND THE
ANSWER? I could use some help please.

A humid towel (not wet) and a tiny amount of dishwasher soap.
Just make sure that you do not let the water drip on the keyboard or
behind the screen and just dry it out with another towel.

Thanks Larry. I'll try to use this option first in the future.

For the past couple of years I've been cleaning all my laptop LCDs with
lense cleaner. If you're careful, you can get a streak-free, spotless
LCD. I don't think it will damage the surface like other solvents do
(such as Windex), but I'm only cleaning the LCDs once every few months.

Bob, you might get some of those special "tissues" designed for
cleaning laptop screens; they come five in a package for a buck.
If you can't find them, get the those used for cleaning glasses.
If you dry your screen with this kind of tissue you will have far
less streaking.
