Molex connector question

Hi! I've just installed a new mem stick, and while diggin the wires to find the memory hole, I noticed some molex had 2 yellow cables, and others just 1. One of these single-yellow connectors was plugged in the GPU addapter, so I switched just in case.

But I was wondering if there's any difference between the double yellow cable molex and the single one, and if there is any possible issue if I switched them.

Yep, the connector with 2 yellow wires is in the middle of the strand, the connector with a single yellow wire is at the end of the strand.
