hi i was up dating the bios onmy compaq presario 2800 and the power went off and now the comp is totally freezed how can i revive it

HI Big ,
i manage to get the sofe ware downloaded but the problem is as i have mentioned my screen is totally black i cant see if the installation is taking place ,i also tried downloading the video and controll panel card software too i can see my externall CD driver reading but after some time it stops and the computer screen is still black so whats the next step BIG pls help
