Every 4 or 5 seconds my screen freezes for less then a second. I can't figure out if it's the game or my system or what possible could be causing it. I've tried everything I could think of.

Drivers are up to date and graphics set to it's ugliest. It still seems to happen :(((

Nvidia GeForce 8600 GTS
2 GB memory
2 GHz dual core.

the 8600GTS isn't really considered a gaming card, it's more for multimedia.....

you can try overclocking your CPU, and see if that helps. otherwise, you'll need a better card.

turn of AA
try turning down the settings and see if that helps
