Just upgraded from 8meg internet to 15meg internet connection was wondering if my gigabit ethernet controller can handle it or do i need to go buy another one.?

yes it is, a 10/100 controller would do it, your 15Mbps line is far less the the gigabit can handle. The fastest internet connection wont touch your nic. gigabit is 10/100/1000 and your internet connection fits inbetween 10/*/100/1000
