Does my system support 3TB hard drives?

System specs are as follows.
AMD Phenom II X4 965
Windows 7 64-bit
ATI Radeon HD5770
Antec Earthwatts 650w
4 GB DDR3 RAM
500 GB HDD

Your motherboard's bios has to accept 3 tb storage devices.

What do you mean by "support"? Many systems can use a 3TB drive to hold data, but can't boot from it. Do you want to use the drive as a data drive or a boot drive?

Support as a secondary drive yes. As a boot drive no, as your mainboard lacks an UEFI bios.

As other's have said, you can use it as a secondary/storage drive. Just be sure to make it a GPT partition and not MBR.
