How to Repair XP from USB - no optical drive

Have a Dell Dimension 3000 that I'm working on. I know how to do a repair installation (which is what I need to do with this machine) but the optical drive doesn't work. I have the XP disc - how do I get it onto a USB stick and run the "Repair" function from it??
