NEW CPU AND NOO BOOTS PLEASE HELP ASAP

Hey all just got a new E5200 for my ASUS p5N-E sli, i have done everything like i normally do, when it boots all the fans go and the normal BEEP sound happens, but the screen just does not come on ...

please help ASAP

Does it boot with your old CPU in? What have you upgraded from?

E5200 isn't mentioned on the support list

however some similar CPUs are, so I would suggest clearing CMOS, and if that doesn't work, updating the BIOS

the CPU is there towards the bottom of the list.... i have reset CMOS and now i get the normal Beep and 5 - 7 seconds later another of the same sound but nothing else...

There are bios versions 1201 and 1403 i have 1402.... suppose i should flash to 1403 ???

Actually the processor is in the list but you might need the update your bios.

ahh will flash to 1404 as 1403 is beta

flashed to 1404, will try new CPU now ... again :S ...
