I want to thank jbakerlent for the help on selecting my parts. Like I said before I only to spend most of my time surfing the internet, downloading music, Microsoft Word and maybe a little gaming (Sims 3, Mirror's Edge, Batman Arkham Asylum, Prince of Persia, Burnout Paradise, Fuel and future games that may come and interest me)

Here is my list of parts I plan on purchasing:

So what do you all think of this system build? Will it be enough for my planned computer usage?

Solution
A 4850 video card is a good match for a 1280x1024 monitor.
Looks like a good, balanced build and should do well for what you want your new system to do.
You did a good job managing your budget to get a very good 'bang for the buck' IMO.

There is a faster set of RAM that actually costs less at the moment. 4GB Crucial Ballistix DDR3 1333 Cas6 1.8V $69
The other set of RAM had free shipping though so maybe use both to figure total costs, including shipping.

Here is a PSU with free shipping and a bit lower cost: OCZ ModXStream Pro 500W $60 before $25 rebate with free shipping and 10% off with promo code OZSAVEOCT, ends 11/1
The Corsair is a higher quality PSU but the OCZ ModXStream Pro is not far behind. TechReport PSU...

Will it be enough? Probably.

In order to give you a definite answer I need to know the following:
Budget?
Monitor Resolution?

The gpu is a great mid-range GPU and assuming you game at 16x10 or lower, you'll be fine there.

I would also recommend a bit more on the CPU side. AMD's new triple and quad core Athlons (really just Phenom II's w/o L3 cache) are GREAT cpu's for the money. If you can squeeze and few more dollars in do it.

+1 on the HDD recommendation from above. Also the Spinpoint F3's 500GB models are single platter, look into one.

No I'm kind already at my budget of $500 and i figured that CPU would run all the games I wanted to play and I could always upgrade to a triple or quad in the future. My resolution right now is 1024x768 but it can go up to 1280x1024.
