Little temp-sensor thing for cooling fan

Hi
I'm not sure this is the best forum for this, but I'm wondering about where and the best way to attach the little temperature sensing ribbon thing on my 2 front cooling fans - it's on a thin wire coming from the fan, and I was going to wrap that around some cabling and let the ribbon end-thing kind of flop around a little, but I'm thinking that's probably not so good. I could cable-tie them to some other cables, but then they're not close to the CPU, RAM or chipset. Does that matter? Any advice?

Thanks in advance!

Pix brother!!! And use paint to edit them as Jpegs, explain in your picture a before and after, so that we could answer your question best! "Also link your temperature sensing ribbon thing" lol.

ok here are my two little temperature sensor ribbon things, held above the power supply (they're for those two fans in the front). this is a micro case, btw. (I'm thinking some kind of heat-resistant tape, just wondering how close they need to be - I mean, the CPU already *has* a cooler and fan...
