Spinpoint vs Deskstar

Might be building another system soon. Was wondering what the folks at Tom's had to say about these two hard drives.

I have used Hitachi drives in the past, and have been very satisfied, but I read/hear good things about Spinpoint drives and was wondering if it is worth trying one of them out. The specs seem to be identical, and in this case the price is as well. I guess I'm asking if anyone has had any personal experience with these drives (either or both).

Please keep in mind that it is not my intention to start a "Samsung vs Hitachi" thread. Thank you in advance for any input you can provide.

Regarding your question; I always buy Western Digital. I never do comparison tests or something like that, but I never had one of them die on me and their is not problematic. I also heared good things about Spinpoint, but I never tried one.
