I just purchased a Blue Label laptop from Best Buy, and I have not been able to get wireless connection from my linksys system which has been working on my old lap top; spcifically the is the encryption key the same as the Network security key? :wahoo:

Encryption key is the same as network security key and the same as what I would call your wireless security passphrase, though not to be confused with the user name and password assigned to you by your ISP.

If you previously failed to make a permanent note of your wireless security passphrase you will need to address the router's setup screens and review or renew the passphrase and apply that and the chosen security type (WEP, WPA) to the Networking setup on your new laptop.

In order to access the router's setup pages you probably need to read the literature which came with your router or download the manual from the maker's site.
