Hyper-X ddr2 (2gb) 1066 showing as 800

does anyone knows why my mem is showing as 800 mhz and @5-5-5-18 in place of 5-5-5-15?
could it be my mb?
it is an ASUS m4a785-m it doesnt support MY model but it does support the kit of 2(2gb) and also 2(4gb)
my model : khx8500d2/2g(b)
the others khx8500d2k2/2g(b)
and khx8500d2k2/4g(b)

The mobo is just reading the SPD.
Enter bios and set the parametres manually (look at your mobo manual).

Of course. It's a very simple operation. Just follow the instructions of the manual. You must set the memory frecuency, the latencies and the voltage (if necessary).

This is what you have to do:
1)Enter bios
2)Go to "advanced" menu
3)Go to "jumper free configuration"
4)"memory clock mode" set in /manual/.
5) "memclock value" select /533/
6) "DRAM timing mode" select /both/
7) tcl=5, trcd=5, trp=5, tras=15
8) "memory over voltage" -> set the voltage that is print in your modules (2,2V)
9) f10, save the changes.
