Evga 780i damaged circit

hi i bought a evga 780i back off a friend cause he had a issue of error code 40 and when i had taken a look on the underside of the board i found what it looks like a small melted/bubbled up slghtly circit and it looks like another one may be affected too, im wandering if i found both ends of each circit and soldered a wire on the ends of the circit to make it a complete circit would that work and possibley fix it cause theres no other errors from what i know and or have seen
