Starting the pc without graphic card

Hi guyz,

I just got my new computer. All the components were delivered,
but the 5850 not....
So now I've got a pc without a graphic card or an onboard
chipset. I really like to know if all my fans and cold cathodes
work so I can see the end result, but for that I need to turn on my pc... Is it possible to do that?
or will I damage my system? because I've no place to connect my

Yes, you can turn the PC on, it won't damage anything.

Yes you can turn the PC, but for shut down the pc you would need press the power button for a few seconds, and when your turn on again could be show a check disk or something like this.
