would the 3850 or 3870 full water fit 4850 ?

it's on clearance and i could buy 2 of those for the price of 1.

Maybe the reason it's on clearance is that it wont fit 4870s?

To my eye the PCB of the 4870 looks different from the 3870.

You'd best hop onto the Koolance forums and ask the experts.

Water cooling is over rated IMO. Poor performance return for the price of the upgrade.

my crossfire pretty much stays at 44 c and about 56 c while gaming. I know water blocks a bit pricey especially the full one. Again thanks for chat and information.
