This is my first time building a PC from scratch. In the past, I always bought Dell's. I've worked in IT for 10 years now, so I might as well put that knowledge to work!

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: this week
BUDGET RANGE: $1,000-$1,500 (This isn't really a factor, but in reality, I don't need a super expensive system)

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: I'm a heavy PC user, more as a workstation, but I also do graphics design work and I watch a lot of movies. I never play games anymore.

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS (I have Win 7 64 bit)

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg.com, but when I order, I'll comparison shop for the best deal
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: US

PARTS PREFERENCES: INTEL CPU

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe
SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1200

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I have little patience for a slow PC, since I'm on it most of the time. A quiet PC would be great.

Here's what I have so far:

Processor: i7-920
Cooler: Prolimatech Megahalems heatsink + (Yate Loon D12SH-12 or Noctua NF-P12)
MB: ASUS motherboard P6T Deluxe V2 (ATX)
RAM: OCZ Platinum 6GB (3 x 2GB) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227381
GPU: Radeon HD 4870 1GB or Radeon HD 4670 1GB
Power PSU: CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX
Case: Antec 900 Two Case
