Budget 775 mobo

I'm throwing together a budget system for someone with a few of my old parts (E8400 and 4gb PC2-5300) as well as some new stuff, but struggling to find a decent budget 775 mobo which also has a firewire port, the low end of DDR2 775's is gettting pretty sparse..

Anyone got a recommendation? Would be much appreciated.

More about budget mobo
  1. The lack of firewire being the problem :(
  2. Here's a board that has one IEEE 1394a (Firewire 400) port:

ASUS P5Q Pro Turbo LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard $124.99 - $20 MIR
  3. MSI P35 neo
  4. Google search (keywords "lga775 with firewire") found several including Intel brand boards in the $80-90 range.
Newegg.com search yielded about the same - lowest price for lga775 with firewire was an Intel board at $79.99.
Looks like your budget will start at $80 + shipping.
