Underclocking help

I currently have an Asus M2A-VM AMD 690G Chipset w/6-channels, Gb LAN, S-ATA Raid, USB 2.0, Single PCI-E MB... and I need to underclock my cpu to solve a bsod issue. The only option I have is to manually adjust the multiplier (bcuz the frequency is as low as the settings of bios will allow-200mhz). I have an AMD athlon duel core 6400 . What is a safe multiplier value for this processor? Ty for the help

anything lower than the stock clock is safe you can go as low as you want it's just if you go higher is when you have to be careful
