Acceptable Temperatures for Intel Core i7 920

Right now I am running a stock intel core i7 920 on an Asus P6T Deluxe V2 with a scythe mugen 2 cpu cooler. At idle, my temps are about 28, 28, 36, and 30, and at load, with games, 40-50, and, with encoding/transcoding, about 60. (all degrees Celcius) I am just wondering whether these temps are safe to hit consistently; I want to know the risks involved with leaving the cpu at 60 degrees for an extended period of time.

Thank you for your help.

idle and gaming temps are low and normal respectively

encoding is lightly high but if you don't do it often then you're fine

You could encode 24/7 from now to 2020 at those temps and have no issue.

thats perfect, mines running at 34-40C across my 4 cores... its a OEM cooler that thats bigger than the avg intel cooler (still crappy, but does it job well.. $3 lol)

my max is about 50-60 , highest ever in the summer was a 63

so your pretty good

now my old celeron d idled at 57 and maxed at 90..... damn i miss those days where my computer will by my personal room heater on those darn cold days
