Greetings -
A current weak link on my PC is the OS drive - a 250GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 (ST3250410AS).
Nominal specs are -
Cache - 16MB
Average Seek Time - 8.5ms
Average Write Time - 10ms
Average Latency - 4.16ms
Any cost-effective (< $100) replacements that might improve performance?
160GB will do, tho' 250GB is preferrable.
At this point, I'm not considering SSDs -- I read of too many issues,
and I just don't need the headaches.
Thanks,
- Richard
