To repair hard disk not detected by bios

If a hard drive is not being detected by your bios then you probably have a mechanical failure in the device. You can try plugging it into different computers, or using an external enclosure, but if that doesn't work then the only way to retrieve the data is to fix the drive, which is not easy or cheap. Basically if it won't detect, most of the time it' dead and not worth fixing.
