I cant see the mapped network drive icon in my computer

I can map a network drive but its not showing in "MY COMPUTER", but if i try to dissconnect network drive from the tools menu the icon of the mapped network is showing.

What causes the problem help me to fix this issue...

In Explorer's Tools menu under Folder Options>View menu, there's a box to tick to "Automatically search for network folders and printers" and I wonder if ticking to do that will make your stray mapped drive show up.

I tried the options you have said, but it didn't solve the problem.Is there any other solution?

sounds to me like it has lost its icon link have you used any software to change your icons.
