Hello,

I have some problems with my pc.
When I boot, my pc gives a voltage/temp warning.
As i cheked my voltage, i saw they where a little bit to high:
Vcore: 4.16V
3.3V: 4.08V
5V: 6.85V
12V: 16.32V

And my cpu temp was around 120C
This is going on for a week now, but today my sound stoped aswell.

When im in windows my pc runs fine, and when i check my vcore and temp they are normal.

Here are my specs:
Mb: asus p5n32-e sli
Processor: E8500
Grafics card: 9800GTX
Sound card: Creative extreame Music
PSU: Coolermaster 620W

I hope you guys know what the problem is.

Thanks for helping!

Whatever you're using to read voltages is giving bad readings.
At 4.16v your chip would pop.
Have a look in the bios hardware monitor for the Vcore, and, if you can, use a DMM to check the other voltages directly from the psu.

I don't think your chip is 4.16V...that would be ridiculous. It wouldn't even operate at that voltage.

Which Operating System are using? In addition download and install "Hardware Monitor" by CPUID. Its one of the best, let it read your Vcore. Your false readings might also be corrected if you update/flash your motherboards BIOS.

Windows 7 64bit.
I installed the program, and there are my voltages normal.
