Get either the XFX 5770 or the EVGA GTX 260. Both have limited lifetime warranties and will make you happy. The XFX 5770 is a lower power consumption card and is dx11 capable so I lean toward the 5770 for more future proofing...

No it doesn't.
GTS250 ~ 4850
5770 ~ 4870 ~ GTX260 > GTX260 ~ 4850

Wrong, Wrong, Wrong, Wrong. Not at you bluesreen.

4870>5770>Gtx 260>4850>Gts 250>4770>5670

Also, ther are 3 cards to think anout.

1. 5770 1gb, 150$.

2. 4850 1gb, 100$.

3. GTS 250, 100$.

hey one more info builder : why shader clock will not come for ATI cards and also what is memory interface. memory interface for 5770 is 128-bit only, for gtx260 and other ati cards it has 256(4850,5670),448(260gtx). this will cause any performance difference.

Funny how this question about the 5770's 128-bit interface always pops up isn't it? :kaola:
oh yea, by the way the GTS 250 is a 256-bit interface card as well.
