I finally found a case not even newegg extincted yet.
I was begging for midtower and ceb (dual cpu mobo 12x10.5) compatible...
I have seen this question asked many many times. It is an elusive answer...

coolermaster 330

there is also a review written by someone using it as a full server. dimensions are close to mid tower but not as smart sized as the old antec 2600/lanboys

The Coolermaster 330 will not fit the typical dual cpu mobo. Most dual cpu mobos are server style Extended ATX (12x13) and this case only fits up to ATX (12x10.5) sized mobos.

Here are some ATX sized dual socket mobos; SUPERMICRO MBD-X8DAL-3 or the TYAN S2927G2NR-E.

A dual socket mobo in a mid-tower case will have heat issues. A full tower might be a better choide as it will provide better airflow to keep the components cool.
