[Q] Kingston 120gb SSD running at sata II speeds on sata III

Hello, I recently went out and purchased a Kingston HyperX 120GB SATA III

I seem to have an issue with actually reaching the advertised speeds on any benchmark... matter of fact my old X-25M SSD is running at about the same speed.

I've changed to AHCI mode installed and enabled marvel drivers etc... and yes it is plugged into a sata III port on my motherboard. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131614

When my bios posts it shows "SATA Port 6 IDE mode"
Even Know I put it in AHCI mode it still booting as IDE... and suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.

Here is a log from Crystal mark if it helps.

  1. To run in AHCI mode you are going to need to edit the Windoze registry or reformat with AHCI turned on. You also typically need to use SATA port #1.
