Hey everyone, I'm building my first computer and I've made some progress in what I planning to do. Below is what I've got so far.

Cpu: Intel i7 920
Motherboard: Gigabyte ex58-ud3r
RAM: 3 x 2GB ddr3 1333 Kensington
Hard drive: Seagate SATA 500Gb
Graphics card: 1GB nvidia 9800gt
Case: Thermaltake M9 (maybe, please give your opinions)
Dvd Rom: Any generic?
PSU: ????

Thanks in advance. Also if you have any other advice please tell me, I'm lost right now.

A good PSU like a corsair 550W or OCZ, antec, Would power that rig.

But there are a few questions we need to know

1. Are you going to OC
2. Add a 2nd GPU
3. replace that GPU latter and add 2 GTX275
4. add more HDD DVD blu-ray

But for a i7 920 rig that can OC well and use 2 GPUs / 2 HDD /and a DVD / blu-ray i would look @ a Corsair 750

Think of what you might do down the road and post back

Also look @ some OCZ Gold ram and a samsung F# 500 HDD

@OP... Please repost your thread using the *How to ask for New Build Advise* stickie format. You will get better feedback on your build.

One quick suggestion... Look at this combo, if you can get from Newegg... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Comb [...] mbo.273732
