is there anyway to upgrade the driver on the ATI Radeon 2400 HD AGP ??

Use the omega drivers. If you want to use the ATI drivers then make sure you get the AGP-hotfix version. You can also google the ATI AGP hotfix to do it yourself, you know if you're like masochistic or something.
