I have a 'stupid' question... I'm not sure if I have a bad 2 GB Corsair memory stick or??? PC (Win 7 Ultimate). Asus P5 Pro has 4 memory slots in groups of 2 each (A1 A2 & B1 B2) It works fine using one module in A2, but when I try to boot with 2nd 2GB stick in B2 - I get a BSOD Memory Management. - Is the 2nd stick supposed to be in same channel or use A1 & B1???

Thanks what I thought - somehow the chip got 'messed up' - Can I run a 1GB Chip in the other channel? or need to have 2GB. If 1GB works, I'll order it (32 bit Win7).

Thanks ,, that's what I thought - somehow the chip got 'messed up' - Can I run a 1GB Chip in the other channel? or need to have 2GB. If 1GB works, I'll order it (32 bit Win7

both sticks need to be the same size for dual channel mode to function

if you use two 2gig sticks with 32bit win you will have between 3.2 and 3.7 available depending on the rest of your setup
