Hi guys! I new to Overclocking so i have some questions to ask. First here is my spec:

CPU: Core i5 2500k
CPU Cooler: CM Hyper 212 EVO
Mobo: Asus P8Z68 V-Pro/Gen 3
RAM: 2*4GB Corsair DDR3 1600MHz (1.5v)

So i overclocked using this guide (http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/266189-29-sandy-bridg...) to a 4.5GHz clock rate without a voltage pump (the vCore was around 1.3). As i tested with Prime 95 and monitor the temps with Real Temp i got to around 70 to 71 Celsius degree. My questions are:

1. Is that temp is a stable temp for that clock rate?
2. Usually, what is the best temp you got under load using the CM Hyper 212 EVO cooler?

Thank you,
Leon

1. Yes that is a stable temp (the Sandy Bridge has a max of 98C, so you're plenty safe).
2. That varies so widely you can't get a 'good' answer. It depends on case, fans, pressurization, ambient temps, etc etc.

Don't stress, you're good to go...
