Umm, hi guyz. Sorry if this is the wrong section, but I was wondering weather the 785g series motherboard from MSI supports ATI's 5770. And whats the difference between MSI 785GM-E51 AMD785G/SB710/DDR3 and MSI 785G-E53 AMD785/SB710/DDR3 besides the price

The request was for links to your purported motherboards. The only to 785 boards I'm finding on Newegg are the E45 and E65 and only the E51 and E65 on MSI's web site.

I don't see why it would not support the ATI HD5770. It's a dual width card, so you'll lose one PCI slot. It card may sit atop the south bridge heatsink.

I would assume (since I can't find the E53) that the main differences between the two boards is the number of memory slots/SATA connectors (since that seems to be the difference between the two boards I could compare on Newegg).

Yes, Newegg.com. Unfortunately, they don't ship to Asia, but you can still read through reviews and compare components.

and the ati 5770 is only supported by windows 7?

Looking at ATI's web site, it looks like they've only offered drivers for Windows Vista and 7.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...i just found out that 785g only has dx10.1 support...i google this:

785g dx11support?

can anyone please give me a website(s) with mobos with dx11 support...*cry* i was plotting computer specs for my new computer build, i have to redo part of it...*cry (encore)*

785g has integrated graphics chip that supports 10.1. You can however install a dedicated dx11 graphics card on it, like the 5770, no problems....
