I know that its not a real competition, but just how much of a difference IS there in the real world between BFG 9800 GT 512 MB and HIS Radeon 5750 1GB? As of today, the 9800GT can churn out fantastic graphics at very acceptable frame rates in just about any game from NFS Shift to Fallout 3 under maxed out settings (Except Anti Aliasing) with the resolution of 1920 x 1200. Is an upgrade really worth it?

in some game like fear, crysis or stalker will requre amount of physics. i'd say go with geforce 9800gt. it had the advantage over jupiter in power consumption and physics feature. less resource hungry. but some game that requre shaders like quake 4/doom 3 or lost planet then 5750 will simply murder geforce 9800gt in larger ram and massive shader unit.

well if you want to play games at 1920x1200
I would actually suggest the 5750, but if you can you should really save some money and get something better

but an upgrade from the 9800gt to 5750 wouldn't be very good
you won't see a giant leap in performance
so if that's what you mean, I suggest you wait untill you have some more money to spend on it.
