So today is the day we start upgrading the command center. Few weeks ago we put together a new pc, I5 processor, 8gig ram, dual gtx 275 896 ram in sli, windows 7 and now its time for a monitor.

Im looking to get at least a 37 inch to hang on the wall so I can sit in my recliner when I game. Im getting rid of the computer desk all together. Now my question for you folks is what HDTV to get? Any suggestions or preferences? Must be a gaming HDTV. Also need to purchase it locally, so says the wife. So bestbuy, costco or something like that should carry it.

Thanks for your input guys.

Few things to add to this, bestbuy has one but im not sure what i should be looking for in refresh rate Hz? is 60Hz good enough for gaming? The video cards have a HDMI out so i should be ok there. Also contrast ratio? What should it be for gaming, sorry for all the questions but im fairly new to using a HDTV as a monitor.

I ended up purchasing Toshiba - 40" Class / 1080p / 60Hz / LCD HDTV Model: 40RV525R/U and I can honestly say, I will never go back to monitors again. Its just simply amazing.
