Hey , what is the difference between a single LAN Mobo and a dual LAN mobo? and what are the differences ill see in peroframnce and is it worth it? i don't really know what a LAN has to do with a motherboard... Please help out as im looking at the Asus P6X58D-E and Asus P6X58D-Premium and not sure if Dual LAN is worth the money and that.. Also i'll be using a corei7 with this and Corsair XMS3 (6GB) or maybe the dominator version... another question would be is the dominator worth the extra £30? Can you really notice any difference in speeds?

Well, the two benefits of dual LAN are that you can hook up to two networks simultaneously or (if supported) teaming. Teaming will get higher performance, but I've never tried it.

So, I'd say unless you want to hook up to two networks simultaneously, don't worry about dual LAN

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145289 is the dominator at 1600Mhz with the timing of 7-8-7-20 (£180.61) and http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-205-CS&utm_source=froogle at 1600Mhz and at a timing of 9-9-9-24 (£133.99)

I lookied about a bit more though and found these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145286&nm_mc=OTC-pr1c3grabb3r&cm_mmc=OTC-pr1c3grabb3r-_-Memory+%28Desktop+Memory%29-_-Corsair+%28XMS+Series%29-_-20145286 which have the speed of 1600Mhz and timings of 7-8-7-20 at £130 but would pobably cost more as i'd be shopping from a british store
