This model of G.Skill Ripjaws (below) is unavailable, so I need a similar alternative.

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) F3-12800CL7D-4GBRM

Are these just as good? And will they be compatible (reach full speeds) with my AMD GIGABYTE GA-890GPA-UD3H Mobo (after I tweak in BIOS)? I probably won't OC my RAM. The last one has only 4GB capacity, whereas the others are all 8GB. Will I really notice a 1-2 CAS latency difference in real-world applications (gaming)?

No. Timing/RAM speed doesn't affect 99% of the computer users.

As far as RAM goes, GSkill Ripjaws are a very good and popular choice. If you can, pick any of the 8GB kits, if not, get the 4GB kit. They are all more or less the same.

So can I assume that most if not all of the Ripjaw Series can attain full speeds on AMD chipsets with BIOS tweaking?

^ The one with 8 CAS Latency is $12 more than the 9 CAS. Is it worth it? Or should I just save?
