SLI works in Vista, not in W7?

Hi guys, I've got a strange problem. SLI works in Vista 32, but not in Windows 7 Starter Edition 32.

Here are my specs:

1000W PSU
P6T
Core I7 920
6gb DDR3
2 x GTX 280

After I load the OS for the first time (either Vista or W7), one of the GTXs shows as "Code 43" in device manager (i.e. not working). I then install the forceware drivers and:

1) In Vista, the Code 43 dissppears and I am given the option to enable SLI.

2) In W7, the Code 43 is still there, and there is no option to enable SLI.

Seems like it could be some kind of driver problem to me, although I have tried numerous different Forceware drivers and some custom sets as well. Anybody any ideas about how I could get it working in W7?

Likely just a driver bug. Some people have been having SLI issues for a while with 7 and the GT200 cards (found a couple older posts elsewhere dealing with it). My assumption is that nvidia was more concerned with getting the average setup to work (ie single-card solutions) and waited to implement advanced functionality. You may just have to wait it out for a few weeks while Big Green gets their act together.
